Easy After-school Jiu-Jitsu Achieves the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts

Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts badge

We’re proud to announce that Easy After-school Jiu-Jitsu has been awarded the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts — an independently assessed standard recognising martial arts providers who have demonstrated good safeguarding practices.

Developed with Sport England and funded by the National Lottery, the Safeguarding Code covers everything from safeguarding policies and safe recruitment to DBS checks, coaching qualifications, and reporting procedures. Achieving it means parents and carers can have confidence that we take the safety and welfare of every child seriously.

All of our coaches are Enhanced DBS-checked, UKBJJA-certified, and hold current safeguarding training and first aid qualifications. We work closely with each host school’s safeguarding team to ensure children are protected at every session.

You can view our full safeguarding policies, codes of conduct, and complaints procedure on our Policies and Safeguarding page, and verify our status on the national map at safeguardingcode.com.

If you have any questions about safeguarding at Easy After-school Jiu-Jitsu, please contact us at david@easjj.co.uk.
